How it all began....
In May 2009 a group of women passionate about aviation got together to create the first UK Chapter for Women in Aviation International (WAI) - CONCORDE CHAPTER WAI. As part of the worldwide organisation we aim to provide an opportunity for like minded people to network on a regular basis and to support career growth in aviation. Our idea is to hold an annual conference as well as social events and visits throughout the year.
Our membership comes from every aspect of aviation from commercial to private pilots, flight instructors, engineers, trainers, finance directors, lawyers, entrepreneurs through to students, plus those who are just passionate about being involved with aviation.
Within the committee we have some experienced aviation professionals who are happy to discuss matters from career guidance to flying tips. You will need to register first but it only takes 2 seconds and gives access to our contact details.
As a member of the Concorde Chapter WAI you will gain access to information from a wide range of aviation skills and we cover every aspect of aviation from commercial to private pilots, flight instructors, engineers, trainers, finance directors, lawyers, entrepreneurs through to students.
